Saw Eric Burdon at Freedom Palace. He played some dark and beautiful blues until most of the rockers left the building. then he encouraged the hundred or so people who remained to move closer and become part of what he was attempting. He poured some water on his head trying to melt into the audience, at which point we were no longer an audience but part of what he created for the night that continues to live in my memory. At least that’s what happened to me, the way I remember it.

I was at Beatles and Who shows. There is a new book out which has many pages of recently discovered photos from the Beatles show. I have a copy. I also have many WHB and other surveys.

Scored lots of tickets at Caper’s, plus enjoyed hanging out there and shooting the breeze with Ben.
